BNetzA: Decision on Delineation of Customer Facilities and Regulated Grids

BNetzA denied DB Netz AG’s request to be treated as a customer facility for its 30 kV grid supplying Berlin’s commuter railway system (S-Bahn). OLG Düsseldorf Dismisses Energy-Intensive Industry Grid Fee Exemption Case

Today the 3rd Cartel Senate of the Higher Regional Court of Düsseldorf (OLG Düsseldorf) dismissed a case against the grid fee exemption for energy-intensive companies pursuant to Section 19 para. 2 sent. 2 Electricity Grid Charges Ordinance (StromNEV) in summary proceedings.

TSO Study: Merger of Gas Market Areas not Commecially Reasonable

The latest market area statement (Marktgebietsbericht) of the German gas TSOs draws the conclusion that the costs of a merger of the German gas-market areas (GASPOOL and NetConnect Germany) would considerably exceed the expected benefits.

European Commission Proposal on Biofuel Revison
