RWE Proposes Leading Role in Single German Control Zone for High-voltage Grid

Installation of BorWin1 in North Sea Completed

Transpower stromübertragungs gmbh reports  that the installation of the mains power connection “BorWin1” in the North Sea has been completed.  Reportedly, the 200 km connection to the transpower network is the world’s longest cable route built to date for an offshore wind park.

Alpha Ventus: Germany’s First Offshore Wind Park Completed

Differing Information on Vattenfall’s Enea Bid

Today, Dow Jones News reports that Vattenfall has not yet finally decided on submitting an offer for the Polish energy supplier Enea.  However, also today Reuters Germany reports that Vattenfall has decided against the submission of an offer.
