Reduction of Solar Feed-in Tariffs After General Elections?

Spiegel Online reports that political pressure is increasing to reduce financial support for solar power after the general elections on 27 September 2009.

The cost of funding support for solar power has increased substantially over the last years.  Solar energy feed-in payments under the Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG) have risen from EUR 679,110,000 in 2005 to EUR 2,218,620,000 in 2008.

Further details on EEG feed-in payments can be found here.
