Consortiums Including RWEnpower and Vattenfall Likely to Win Licences for Wind Farms off the British Coast

Two consortiums, one called Forewind including RWEnpower, the other including Vattenfall, are likely to win licenses for wind farms off the British coast in the current third round of licensing.  The awards are due to be made official by the Crown Estate, the body responsible for licensing offshore wind farms, by the end of next month, with the first turbines entering the water by 2014.
