Energiewende Index Shows Mixed Attitude Towards Energy Policy Shift and Fears for Competitiveness and Security of Supply

The first poll by the German Energy Agency (dena) and Ernst & Young for a new Deutsche Energiewende-Index (DEX) established an almost neutral attitude (100.8 on a scale of 0 to 200) towards Germany’s energy policy shift. Depending on the sectors, however, the picture differs. With regard to the legal and regulatory framework, international competitiveness and the security of supply, a very high percentage of the respondents expressed their concern.
