BGH Rulings Strengthen Rights of District Heating Consumers

In two rulings the Federal Court of Justice (BGH) clarified the requirements for price adjustment clauses to be legally effective, in particular with regard to their transparency. Furthermore, the court held that district heating consumers were entitled to deny payments arguing that a price adjustment clause is void.
