New EU Energy-Efficiency And Labelling Requirements for Space Heaters and Combination Heaters in Force

Two new regulations under the EU Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC and the EU Energy Labelling Directive 2010/30/EU concerning in particular space heaters and combination heaters have entered into force on 26 September 2016, the German Energy Agency (dena) informed.

EVPG Law Transposing Ecodesign Directive 2009 Entered into Force

The Energy Consumption Relevant Products Act (EVPG), an amendment of the Energy Using Products Act (EBPG), has entered into force. The EVPG transposes the Ecodesign Directive 2009/125/EC into German law.

Federal Cabinet Approves Draft Bill Transposing Ecodesign Directive 2009

The Federal Cabinet yesterday approved a draft bill amending the Energy Using Products Act (Energiebetriebene-Produkte-Gesetzes – EBPG) to become the Energy Consumption Relevant Products Act (Energieverbrauchsrelevante-Produkte-Gesetz, EVPG). The bill shall transpose the 2009 Ecodesign Directive into German law.
