Government Adopts Amendment of Energy Savings Ordinance Accepting Federal Council Conditions

The incumbent government accepted the changes to the bill amending the Energy Savings Ordinance (EnEV), the Bundesrat (Federal Council) demanded last Friday and adopted the bill in the amended form. It includes stricter requirements for the exchange of heating boilers.

Bundesrat Approves Amendment of Energy Savings Ordinance – On Numerous Conditions

Last Friday the Federal Council (Bundesrat) approved an amendment of the Energy Savings Ordinance (EnEV), but only subject to a large number of conditions. They are supposed to increase the transparency of the energy-related data of buildings and reducing bureaucracy.

Federal Cabinet Adopts Amendments of Energy Savings Act and Energy Savings Ordinance

Yesterday the German government adopted amendments of the Energy Savings Act (EnEG) and of the Energy Savings Ordinance (EnEV). The ordinances intend to tighten the energy savings requirements for new buildings.

Proposals for Amendments of Energy Savings Act and Ordinance Sent Out for Review by Trade Associations

The Federal Ministry of Transport, Building and Urban Development (BMVBS) has sent the drafts for a bill amending the Energy Savings Act (EnEG) and an amendment of the Energy Savings Ordinance (EnEV) to the trade sector associations for review (so-called Verbändeanhörung).
