Germany and China Agree on Renewable Energy Cooperation

On the occasion of the third session of the Assembly of the International Renewable Energy Agency (IRENA), Germany and China signed a bilateral agreement concerning the cooperation of the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU) and the Chinese National Energy Administration (NEA) with respect to the promotion of renewable energy sources.

Germany and Turkey Strenghten Energy Partnership

Germany and Turkey want to strengthen their cooperation in the energy sector. Last week, German Economics Minister Philipp Rösler and his Turkish colleague Energy Minister Taner Yildiz signed an agreement in Istanbul confirming the energy partnership. It shall be put into concrete terms in a German-Turkish Energy Forum.
