ENTSO-E Publishes Ten-Year Network Development Plan

The European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) has released its Ten-Year Network Development Plan 2012 (TYNDP) and submitted it to the Agency for the Cooperation of Energy Regulators (ACER) for opinion in line with Regulation 2009/714/EC on conditions for access to the network for cross-border exchanges in electricity.

Entso-E: European TSOs Concerned about System Adequacy for this Winter

Based on preliminary results and analyses for ENTSO-E’s forthcoming Winter Outlook Report, there is concern among European TSOs about generation adequacy margins for the coming winter, the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) warns. TSOs will continue to cooperate very closely on coordinated measures to maintain the security of electricity supply, the association announced.
