Legal Action Against Nuclear Power Extension?

In an interview with the weekly newspaper Die Zeit, the CEO Georg Müller of the regional utility MVV Energie from Mannheim said an amendment of the Atomic Energy Act (AtG) that stipulates a gradual phase-out of nuclear energy in Germany until 2020 would invalidate investments in modern power generation plants. New Nuclear Power Extension Talks Expected for End of February

A new meeting of the so-called monitoring group  on the extension of the life-span of the 17 German nuclear power plants shall take place at the end of February, says Rheinische Post. The monitoring group consists of government representatives and representatives of the four major utilities E.ON AG, RWE AG, Vattenfall Europe AG and EnBW AG.
