German Environment Minister Calls for More Ambitious EU Climate Change Targets Ahead of Petersberg Climate Dialogue

Ahead of the Petersberg Climate Dialogue, hosted jointly by Germany and Mexiko from 2 to 4 May 2010 on the Petersberg near Bonn, German Environment Minister Norbert Röttgen called on the EU to tighten its CO2 reduction target from 20% to 30% until 2030.
