VDE Study Recommends Limited Dynamic Support of New Power Plants Connected to Low Voltage Level in Case of Voltage Drop

A study commissioned by the Association for Electrical, Electronic and Information Technologies (VDE) recommends that new power plants connected to the low voltage level shall be able to provide limited dynamic support for the grids, remaining connected in case of short voltage drops (typically with a duration of approximately 100 milliseconds) to stabilise the grids.
